Urinoma Carcinoma CT Findings
- Can be confined fluid collections or free fluid
- Accumulation is in the retroperitoneal and perirenal spaces
- Typically leaks into subcapsular location
- Delayed excretory phase is best to diagnose urinoma
- Urinoma may be a consequence of an obstructing stone

Etiology:
- Trauma
- Surgery
- Obstructions such as stones
Epidemiology:
- Rare
- More common in patients with high blood pressure and diabetes
Presentation:
- Palpable mass
- Abdominal pain
- Malaise
Prognosis:
- The prognosis for a urinoma is excellent after treatment
- The cause of obstruction should be found and treated if able
