Bladder Hematoma CT Findings

• High attenuation (50-80 HU)
• Fluid-fluid level
• Filling defect
• Often a result of biopsy or other procedure

Etiology:

• Trauma
• Surgery
• Malignancy

Epidemiology:

• Rare
• More common in patients with coagulation irregularities

Presentation:

• Abdominal and/or pelvic pain
• Hematuria

Prognosis:

• Most patients recover with treatment
