Ureterocele CT Findings
Ectopic- More common
- Occur in ectopic ureter
- Protrusion into bladder or urethra
- Less common
- Occur in normal ureter
- Stenosis at distal end
- Ballooning proximal to stenosis

Etiology:
- Congenital
Epidemiology:
- More common in females
Presentation:
- Typically asymptomatic
- Patients with ureteroceles are more likely to develop UTIs
Prognosis:
- Ureteroceles can be corrected with surgery
