Bladder Diverticulum CT Findings
- Outpouching of the bladder wall
- Can be true (all layers) or false (only mucosa and submucosa)

Other Information About Bladder Diverticulum
Etiology:
- Can be congenital
- Acquired bladder diverticulum can be caused by blockages or urinary retention
Epidemiology:
- 9x more common in males
Presentation:
- Polyuria
- Dysuria
- Frequent UTIs
- Hematuria
Prognosis:
- Bladder diverticulum does not have to be treated if it is not causing problems
- Symptoms can be treated
- Patients may require surgery in severe cases
