Etiology:

• Usually caused by bacterial infection

Epidemiology:

• Common
• More common in females

Presentation:

• Constantly feeling the need to urinate
• Dysuria
• Foul smelling, cloudy urine
• Hematuria
• Pelvic pain
• Fever

Prognosis:

• Acute cystitis is curable
