Scrotal Hematoma CT Findings
- High-density fluid (50-90 HU)
- Scrotal wall thickening
- Displacement and/or compression of the testes
- Fluid-fluid levels
- Best evaluated with ultrasound

Other Information About Scrotal Hematoma
Etiology:
- Trauma
- Surgery such a vasectomy
Epidemiology:
- About 1% of vasectomy patients will get a hematoma
Presentation:
- Scrotal pain
- Scrotal swelling
- Discoloration (bruising)
Prognosis:
- Scrotal hematomas are benign and will resolve on their own
- Severe cases will require surgical intervention
