- Mucosal enhancement
- Wall thickening
- Infiltration of the periverticular fat
- Fistulae to colon may be defined

Other Information About Bladder Diverticulitis
Etiology:
- Can be congenital or acquired
Epidemiology:
- Very rare
- Congenital typically presents before age 10
- Acquired typically presents after age 60 and is more common in males
Presentation:
- Typically asymptomatic
- Hematuria
- Urinary retention
- UTI
Prognosis:
- Diverticulitis can resolve spontaneously
- If bladder diverticulitis persists, it can be treated and may require surgery
