• Oval or triangular
• Smooth edges
• Homogeneous attenuation
• Thin walls
• Uneven density in larger cysts

Etiology:

• Can be congenital
• Associated with infection and autoimmune diseases

Epidemiology:

• Rare
• Can occur at any age

Presentation:

• Typically asymptomatic and discovered incidentally
• Cough
• Dyspnea
• Chest pain

Prognosis:

• Thymic cysts are benign
