- Vessel wall thickening
- Stenosis
- Microaneurysm formations
- Can result in bowel ischemia

Other Information About Superior Mesenteric Artery (SMA) Vasculitis
Etiology:
- Associated with autoimmune disorders and certain medications
- Can be idiopathic
Epidemiology:
- Rare
Presentation:
- Typically asymptomatic
- Patients with SMA vasculitis can presents with mesenteric ischemia
Prognosis:
- SMA should be treated
- The prognosis depends on the extent of the disease
