Podcasting:Validating your RSS File

The easiest was to validate your RSS file is to use online validation software such as Feed Validator at www.feedvalidator.org. Type the complete URL of the RSS file into the Feed Validator Web page. This will make certain that there are no errors that would cause the feed to malfunction. If you vary at all from the format given, it could produce an error, so make sure that you type the data for the RSS file in exactly as it appears in the examples in Appendixes 1 and 2 (Fig. 4).
