CASE NUMBER 834
Diagnosis

Intra-cranial Bleed

Note
It’s an intra-cranial bleed. Well, we don’t show that many head CTs on CTisus. Maybe people like the high density, the mass effect, some of the atrophy. Just a very classic appearance of intra-cranial bleed. Intra-cranial bleed are typically non-contrast scans. There’s lots of work with AI, companies like Aidoc, Zebra, have developed FDA-approved technologies for detection of intracranial bleed with high accuracy, and most of the time those techniques are used for triage. Not that radiologists can’t see the bleed but if they have a long list, it moves them up to the front of the list, so it makes diagnosis come earlier.

So a nice example of intra-cranial bleed with vascular mapping.
