question1. Do you need consent for IV contrast?
question2. Do you need consent for oral or rectal contrast?
question3. Who gets the signed consent?
questionThe consent is gotten by a licensed physician who must co-sign the consent form. It is usually done in Radiology by the Radiologists. One exception would be that if a family member needs to be the signer (I.e. with a patient under 18, or one who is incapible of giving consent) it should be done on the floor by the patient's physician.
question4. What if the patient is unable to sign consent what do we do?
question5. What is your consent policy in an emergency?
