Comments:Bolus tracking is performed off the abdominal aorta using a 230 HU trigger setting. For all CT Enterography patients, the following protocol is used regarding oral contrast administration:

  • 1st Dose 450 mL of Volumen (Drink slowly within the first 10 minutes)
  • 2nd Dose 450 mL of Volumen (10 minutes after 1st dose of Volumen)
  • 3rd Dose 450 mL of Volumen (10 minutes after 2nd dose of Volumen)
  • One cup of water immediately prior to scanning.
