Scan range to include kidneys only
Scan range to include diaphragm through bladder
Scan range to include diaphragm through iliac crest
Scan range to include kidneys through bladder
Scan Comments: When evaluating for transitional cell carcinoma, the arterial phase images should extend through the bladder as lesions can occur anywhere along the urinary tract. Scan ranges are limited to a specific area of interest to avoid unnecessary patient dose. The non-contrast phase can often be excluded for follow up studies. All scans are performed using the ALARA principle. 3D post-processing is performed with this protocol.
