More than half of NEJM Catalyst Insights Council members say integrative medicine and health services are used in their organizations, and most say it improves patient outcomes, patient experience, provider trust, and health equity. Yet challenges remain, including staffing shortages, limited clinician training, largely stagnant reimbursement, and inequities in care delivery.
