In a combined cohort of 3208 patients 45 to 79 years old from two population-based studies with approximately 15 years of follow-up, Khan et al. [1] retrospectively calculated 10-year incident coronary heart disease (CHD) risk using three methods applied individually and in combination: traditional risk factors (namely, pooled cohort equations [PCEs]), coronary artery calcium score (CACS), and polygenic risk score (PRS).
