• Imaging Children with Abdominal Trauma

    OBJECTIVE. Trauma is a leading cause of morbidity and mortality in children. The abdomen is the second most common site of injury. This article discusses abdominal trauma in children.

    CONCLUSION. The clinical evaluation of children with potential blunt abdominal in­jury presents a challenging task. Therefore, imaging plays an essential role in the evaluation of such children.
