OBJECTIVE. Improvements in MDCT coronary angiography allow imaging of the coro- nary arteries that rivals invasive coronary angiography. Recent studies have shown high sensi- tivity and specificity in detecting coronary artery disease. But in the course of interpretation, other significant abnormalities may be encountered in addition to atherosclerotic plaques.

CONCLUSION. We present a selection of nonatherosclerotic cardiovascular findings that were detected with coronary CT angiography performed on a 64-MDCT scanner.
