Comment:The thin sections (.75 x .5 mm) is ideal for trauma where CT replaces plain films and a volume display (coronal, saggital, and 3D rendering) is used, with suspected vascular injury (i.e. GSW or stab wound) a CTA can also be done as a single exam. |
