This is the second of two complementary documents commissioned by the SCCT to provide recommendations on the use and optimal performance of cardiac computed tomography (CT) in patients of all ages with congenital heart disease (CHD). The aim of the first document was to describe the current uses of cardiac CT in CHD, review the risks and limitations of current CT technology, provide lesion specific indications for appropriately selected patients, and outline a consensus opinion on the essential skills and knowledge needed to perform cardiac CT in patients with CHD.
