History: A 65-year-old woman with a history of hypertension and hyperlipidemia presented with gradually progressive fatigue, cough, dyspnea on exertion, and unintentional weight loss of 20 lb (9 kg) over 1 year. The patient was discovered to have a large left atrial mass at contrast-enhanced computed tomography (CT) performed at an outside hospital and was subsequently referred to our institution.
