Go to page: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10 | 11 Spiral CT angiography has been very successful in the evaluation of thoracic aortic dissection, with a higher sensitivity and specificity in determining the relationship of dissection to arch vessels when compared to multiplanar transesophageal echo and MRI. Advantages over conventional arteriography include a single peripheral injection that can potentially visualize true and false lumen, origin and end of dissection, if proper protocols are followed.
