Vascular Applications in Imaging of the Spleen3D CT Angiography is rarely used for the evaluation of the spleen except in cases involving the splenic artery. In these cases aneurysms or pseudoaneurysms may be well defined on these imaging studies. In patients with varices due to cirrhosis collateral flow patterns including spleno-renal shunting may be well documented. |
